chocolate caliente.
Every day is getting colder and colder here in New York, and what better way to keep warm than with a homemade hot chocolate. It’s very easy and so tasty.
Here is what you need:
- 4 cups of milk.
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder (get a good quality cocoa powder).
- 1/2 cups of sugar.
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Miniature marshmallows.
These are the marshmallows and cocoa I used:
DIRECTIONS:
Combine the ingredients in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until hot (not boiling). Pour into mugs. And add the miniature marshmallows on top.
Note: You can modify the quantity of the ingredients. If you want the chocolate to be stronger, add more cocoa powder, or if you want a softer flavor, add less. Same with the sugar.
Hope you like it! And if you have any recommendations to this recipe, add it on the comments bellow so other people can try it (myself included).
Enjoy!
