RAINY NEW YORK.

July 19th, 2018

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

It rained on Tuesday 17th.

The day my sister and I were going to the movies to watch Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and silly us didn’t check the weather before purchasing the tickets (I wouldn’t go to the city if it were going to rain -if I don’t really have to-)

We got to the station and it started to POUR, plus it was crazy windy. But that was okay because we got cover in time and we had an hour ride to the theaters and hopefully it would stop *stress meter still down*

It didn’t stop. But at least it was less aggressive. Don’t get me wrong, I love rain, only when I’m not outside and dodging people.

BUT, who would’ve thought that New York City raining was really pretty!

The movie was at 4:45pm and we got there an hour earlier, so we decided to go to Kinokuniya, a Japanese bookstore where I’ve never been to, and I loved it there.

Yeah, there were some weird stuff but I am still coming back.

-sorry I didn’t get too many pics of the store. But next time I will!-

We lost track of time so we ran to the movies.

-No spoilers- Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom wasn’t as good as I expected. It got really predictable and there were scenes that were such clichés, and the jokes weren’t really funny -am I dead?- It almost feels like they focused more on the special effects -which, not gonna lie, they were pretty awesome- that the storyline fell cheap, as well as some of the characters. But that’s just what I think.

But anyways, I still enjoyed the day very much, even though it rained, we had to dodge people here and there and the umbrella was useless, but we got to see another aura of the city, which I don’t regret at all.

Have you seen the movie? What did you think?

  1. Loved this! How you noticed how pretty new York was in the rain brings importance to the simple aspects of life which we often don’t pay attention to or take for granted, but we experience on a day to day basis. They should be noticed juts like you did! lovely pictures 🙂
